For a long time, I explored different paths searching for a way to not just "function," but to truly thrive and feel at home in my own body.

I realized that the most transformative tool we possess is the one we’ve been using since birth and will use until our last moment. It is the only system in our body that is always flowing, always available, and capable of influencing every other biological process: The Breath.

Whether you are in a high-stakes meeting, out for a run, or simply relaxing on your couch, the Breath is accessible every second of your life. There is no excuse not to use them.

What I do:

My Approach

Breathing is influenced by many different factors, and it’s really easy to lose focus amidst all the possibilities.

To simplify things, I’ve identified three major areas we can focus on. They are all interconnected, influence one another, and are deeply intertwined with the way we breathe.

I’ve named these three areas:

Liberation

By aligning your posture and freeing tight tissues, we remove the physical resistance that restricts your lungs. This creates the essential space for your breath to flow naturally and without effort.

We strengthen your breathing muscles and master the coordination of the 'breath wave' to maximize your respiratory power. This ensures you utilize your full potential, delivering more oxygen to your body with significantly less work.

By expanding your CO2​ tolerance and recalibrating your nervous system, we widen the boundaries of your internal chemistry. This prevents your body from overreacting to stress, allowing you to stay calm and efficient in any situation.

It is important to me to find the right approach for YOU as an individual – one that suits and respects your starting point, your body and your goals.

Do we always work in all three areas?

No, there is no obligation to work on all three areas at the same time. We can focus more on one part or even leave another one fully by the side if it doesn't fit your current condition. 

I love to do group workshops for a specific topic or a great overview. A little introduction, small exercises for every day life. If you have a group of people (friends, sports team or business department) feel free to reach out and I'll manufacture a nice intro for your time frame and amount of people!

The name Vayu originates from Vedic philosophy and embodies the god of the wind as well as the breath of life, or Prāna. Wind is a primal force that provides direction and initiates change—it can be wild and untamed, yet it also acts as a profound, organizing power. In this sense, at Vayu Medicina, I view the breath metaphorically as 'medicine': a biological resource that helps us set stagnant processes in motion and discover newfound clarity.

With Vayu Medicina I want to honor ancient knowledge and combine this deep symbolism with an evidence-informed practice. It is about better understanding the physiology of our breathing and learning to consciously navigate this 'inner wind.' In doing so, we create a space akin to the eye of a tornado: a place of peace and clarity, even when external circumstances seem unmanageable. We utilize the breath not as a mere cure, but as a tool for self-regulation to continuously realign with our own center.
